Accepted Papers

Instructions to Presenters

All the papers accepted at HeAL 2020 will be showcased as oral presentations, and will be given a 15 minute slot (12 minutes for the talk, 2 minutes for questions, and 1 minute for speaker setup). Presentation template can be downloaded from here (we strongly recommend the use of this template in the preparation of your presentation). Please bring your presentation (16:9) on a USB stick to the presentation centre located at the Lecture Hall Complex, LHC-C. We recommend that you email us the presentation (in PDF format) by January 01, 2020 11:59pm UTC-12, to ficta2020@nitk.edu.in. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance and introduce yourself to the session chairs and volunteers, who will help to set up. Ensure to briefly check that the fonts, pictures, audio, and video display are as intended. Each room will have a PC (Windows, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader) and a video projector. Presenting from the conference PC is the default (and strongly preferred) option. In case of problems, you may present from your own laptop, but please bring along any adapters needed to connect to HDMI if you need to use this option. The conference schedule and other vital details will be posted on the conference webpage at: https://ficta2020.nitk.ac.in/heal_accepted.html.

Note: For international authors who are presenting their research through Skype, it is recommended that you log in well ahead of your slot and rectify any issues of connectivity. Additionally, please ensure to have emailed us a recording of your presentation (by January 01, 2020 11:59pm UTC-12) as a backup in case of connectivity issues. Please utilize software that records both the screen and camera, for instance, Loom, to record your presentation. Failing to showcase your research (via Skype or pre-recorded presentation) will result in the exclusion of your paper from the Springer AISC conference proceedings.

Congratulations to the authors and we look forward to your presentations!
